The room behind the world
The Story
C-Drive's Garage started as a real detached garage in Houston—then accumulated enough games, music, lights, signs and strange ideas to become something else.
At the center is a 1963 seven-foot Valley coin-operated pool table: scarred, stubborn and still doing its job.
The room grew around it. Darts found a wall. Games found corners. Astros history, music gear, neon, Lego, spacecraft and years of collected objects filled every remaining surface.
The virtual garage is not a clean architectural rendering. It is a playable recreation of a personal space—a room with history, jokes, imperfect objects and a schnauzer named Heinrich who has his own ideas about what deserves attention.
Houston built.
Moon ready.
The digital version pushes the real room past its physical limits. The garage doors open onto a moon base. An arcade cabinet contains several games. Pool, darts and putting track scores. The lights, sound system, refrigerator and decorations respond when visitors explore.
It is part game, part time capsule and part ongoing experiment. Like the real garage, it is never completely finished.
